Position Overview:
As an RF Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, analysis, and testing of RF and microwave systems, components, and networks. Your work may span areas such as antenna design, circuit simulation, wireless communications, radar, and EMI/EMC compliance. We offer roles that align with your current level of experience, from hands-on engineering support to project and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities (May Vary by Experience):
Design and simulate RF circuits, filters, amplifiers, and antennas
Conduct RF performance testing, analysis, and validation
Support wireless system architecture and integration
Develop PCB layouts for RF/mixed-signal systems
Perform EMI/EMC analysis and ensure regulatory compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and systems engineers
Document test results, design revisions, and engineering reports
Lead design reviews and mentor junior engineers (senior-level roles)
Qualifications:
Entry-Level:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Strong foundation in RF principles, electromagnetics, and signal propagation
Experience with tools like HFSS, CST, ADS, or SPICE
Lab experience with VNA, spectrum analyzers, or signal generators
Internship or academic project experience in RF/wireless preferred
Mid-Level:
3–5 years of experience in RF design, testing, or system integration
Proficient with RF simulation software and measurement equipment
Familiarity with cellular (LTE/5G), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, radar, or satellite systems
Ability to troubleshoot RF issues and optimize system performance
Senior-Level:
6+ years of experience in RF engineering, including leading designs from concept to production
Deep knowledge of RF circuit theory, wireless communication protocols, and system-level tradeoffs
Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and regulatory testing
Proven track record in mentoring, technical leadership, and cross-team collaboration
Master’s degree or PE certification is a plus
Preferred Industry Experience:
Wireless communications (5G, Wi-Fi, IoT)
Defense/aerospace (radar, RF sensing, electronic warfare)
Satellite and RF front-end design
Consumer electronics and wearable devices
