Position Overview:
As a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in optimizing production processes, improving product quality, and driving efficiency through innovative engineering solutions. From entry-level engineers to senior leaders, we offer opportunities to contribute at every stage of the production lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities (Will Vary by Experience):
Design and improve manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment
Develop and optimize layouts for production lines and workstations
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality and process issues
Collaborate with design, quality, and operations teams to ensure manufacturability
Develop documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
Support or lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
Interface with suppliers and vendors on materials and production methods
Provide leadership and mentorship on complex manufacturing projects (senior-level roles)
Qualifications:
Entry-Level:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Understanding of basic manufacturing processes and industrial systems
Familiarity with CAD software and technical drawings
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Mid-Level:
3–5 years of experience in mechanical or manufacturing engineering
Experience with process improvement, automation, or production tooling
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and manufacturing documentation
Knowledge of industry standards (ISO, ASME, etc.)
Senior-Level:
6+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering roles
Proven success leading production-scale projects or plant optimization initiatives
Deep understanding of manufacturing systems, quality control, and cost reduction strategies
Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and vendor management experience
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CNC machining, injection molding, or automated systems
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing metrics
Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience in continuous improvement
