Position Overview:
As a Control Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining control systems to optimize operations and ensure system performance. Whether you're just starting your career or you're a seasoned expert, we have roles that match your skills and goals.
Responsibilities (may vary by level):
Design and program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
Develop control strategies and system architectures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers
Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
Prepare documentation such as specifications, wiring diagrams, and manuals
Provide technical support during and after project completion
Lead and mentor junior engineers (for senior-level roles)
Qualifications:
Entry-Level:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Controls, or related field
Familiarity with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and basic automation concepts
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Eagerness to learn and grow in a hands-on environment
Mid-Level:
3–5 years of experience in control system design and integration
Proficiency in PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming
Experience with field commissioning and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.)
Senior-Level:
6+ years of controls engineering experience
Proven track record leading automation projects
Advanced knowledge of control theory, safety systems, and high-level integration
Experience mentoring teams and interfacing with clients
Preferred Skills (All Levels):
Experience in industries such as manufacturing, oil & gas, food & beverage, or water/wastewater
Knowledge of electrical design tools (AutoCAD, EPLAN, etc.)
Understanding of instrumentation and process control
